you could do it without deadly paradox, but then you would need an essence of celerity (and maybe a +1 attributes consumable)

I still don't think this will work, but then again I have never tried it.

You could probably get it to work with [Glyph of Swiftness][shadow form] and a ranger hero with [Serpent's Quickness][Quickening Zephyr].

But you can't get too far away from QZ.

Just buy NF. It's a good campaign.

20% (essence) + 25% (glyph) = 45% faster recharge
45 recharge - 45% = 25 sec recharge (24.75 sec)

SF ==> 22 sec (@ 16) + 20% ench = 26.4 sec SF (not sure if GW rounds up or down in this case; If it rounds down, you'll need a +1 attribute consumable)

Sorry bud, your math is wrong.
80% * 75% != 45%.

So, with those in effect, we have a 40% recharge.
45*.6 = 27 seconds
22*1.2 = 26.4 seconds. Sooo close. And GW doesn't round.

It's possible with +1 in an attribute, i.e. holy grail, but it'll be close.

With QZ, you don't need any modifiers with a 20% enchant weapon and 16 in shadow arts. Just cast shadow form over and over. It's why I love the rangers in DoA.

IIRC, GW does round durations. I know that that's how the old Ancestor's>RtL spike worked, because (before it was changed to a skill) the game rounded it to 2 seconds which allowed you to teleport before it ended. Also, Patient Spirit gets rounded up to 3 seconds with an enchant mod. Do you have any proof that it doesn't round numbers?

Thought this was an intriguing idea as i totally suck at the more conventional perma builds

so i`ve been playing with an A/R perma solo build

[Dwarven Stability] [Serpents Quickness] [Quickening Zephyr] [Shadow Form] [Asuran Scan] [By Urals Hammer] + 2 others

20 ench zealous daggers with energy inscrip, WS 9, SA 16 ( modded ) DM 9, CS 3 full attunement and radiant except mask which is SA = 46 e

Pop em exactly in the order above

Sf lasts approx 27 secs , and will recharge in 20.6 secs and you can effectively get through those twice...thats the good news

Bad news is you need at least 50 energy to do it, and trying to repeat 3 times is impossible due to the energy cost of QZ, not quite as much of a problem in Asuran territory as you can get the energy buff ,thats assuming of course you have no dp and the spirit doesn`t get killed to start off with ! Upshot is as a solo build it sucks

however w ranger with a high wilderness aptitude running the first 3 skills enabling the sin to drop the QZ , it could work*

* possibly maybe

Permasin is like the definition of "solo build." If you have a perma variant that sucks as a solo build, then it sucks as a perma variant. Seriously, why do people perma? To farm.

It`s not the definition of a solo build! Otherwise there wouldn`t be 30+ groups in the Grotto looking for permas for their parties duh. Yes they may be VSF farming, yes they may be going to complete the dungeon, but its not a solo perma job, and as parties are usually designed to support each other the variation i posted is possible within such an enviroment.
